It converts an intelligent device into a controller that can be programmed in the IEC 61131-3 languages with the CODESYS Development System.

Can adapt the CODESYS Control runtime system to almost any platform or requirement.
The CODESYS Runtime Toolkit is required for this purpose. The modular structure and the scalability of the system provide a wide range of possibilities for customizing the runtime system to individual system structures. As long as your devices are based on standard platforms, you can also install the SoftPLC systems available in the CODESYS Store. Under "Available SoftPLC systems for standard platforms" you will find a list of all supported platforms and the corresponding SoftPLC systems.

CODESYS Inside offers a selection of manufacturers that offer CODESYS-compatible devices. CODESYS Control is implemented on all available CODESYS controllers. Furthermore, ready-to-use SoftPLC systems with CODESYS Control, which you install on the devices yourself, are available for different standard platforms in the CODESYS Store.
Depending on the license purchased, additional features are included, such as integrated support for real-time Ethernet systems and the option to license the visualization and motion control products also available in CODESYS. The suffix „SL“ stands for „Single License”, meaning licensing per device.
Use the free CODESYS Control Extension Package to adapt the functionality of SoftPLC systems to your needs using the free CODESYS Control Extension Package. For more information, see CODESYS Runtime. The package comes free of charge with the CODESYS Installer.
